Description
CeraTex® 3150 Ceramic Fiber Round Braided Rope is made with high temperature ceramic fiber yarn reinforced with fiberglass filament carrier, round braid structure. The product is white and odorless, suitable for high temperature applications up to 2300°F.
Main Characteristics and Properties
Round braid structure, medium density with enhanced tensile and abrasion-resisting strength. It is compressible and resilient; has characteristics of lightweight, low thermal conductivity, high temperature stability, low heat storage, thermal shock resistant, fire and flame proof, chemical resistant, compatible with most corrosive chemicals, commonly used acid and alkali (exceptions are hydrofluoric, phosphoric acids and concentrated alkalies).
